Stroll Main Street and soak in the creativity at Fourth Friday Art Walks. This seasonal favorite brings together local artists, musicians, makers, businesses, and neighbors for an evening of art, music, shopping, and community vibes.

Taking place May through September, Art Walks now happen on Fourth Fridays, creating more space for artists to shine and giving visitors even more to explore as Main Street comes alive from 5:30 p.m. until dusk.

2026 Dates:

  • May 22

  • June 26

  • July 24

  • September 25

Whether you are popping into shops, enjoying live music, or discovering new local art, each month offers something fresh and welcoming for all ages.

✨ Artist signups for May are now open! Submissions close April 30 at 7pm. Click here to apply.

Apply to Be a Vendor

Submit an application on our website to be considered for the Fourth Friday Art Walk. We review applications on a rolling basis, and selections will be sent no later than three weeks before each event.

We will be welcoming up to 60 art vendors and 4 food vendors at each Art Walk. Events now take place on the Fourth Friday of every month.

To hold your spot, a $10 artist booth fee or $40 food vendor fee must be received no later than two weeks before the event. Payment secures your space. If payment is not received by the deadline, your spot may be offered to someone on the waitlist so we can keep the event full and active.

Vendor locations are thoughtfully arranged by our team to create the best experience for attendees and vendors alike. Because of this, we are not able to accommodate placement requests. Final vendor locations will be shared by email the Tuesday before the event.

HOW WE SELECT VENDORS
Our goal is to create a vibrant, well-rounded market each month with a mix of styles, mediums, and experiences. We do our best to give as many people as possible the opportunity to participate throughout the season. If you are not selected for one month, we strongly encourage you to apply again.

We love supporting our local community, and some priority may be given to Beech Grove residents. We also reserve a handful of spaces each month for emerging artists who are new to markets or sharing their work publicly for the first time.

Food Sales

Food vendors must have their food handlers (or Home Based Vendor) license on file with the Marion County Health Department and follow all rules regarding packaging and labeling. Additionally, you must provide NSBG with a copy of your liability insurance listing Next Stop Beech Grove as additionally insured. We have limited spots for food vendors.

Set Up

We are set up on the sidewalks of Main Street.

Artist must bring all set up materials (tables, chairs, easels, racks, etc.). Each vendor is allowed space for one 6 or 8 foot table.

Canopy tents are not allowed. We understand that this is an inconvenience for some, but canopy tents make this event too crowded and we need to keep a walking path clear to ADA regulations at all times. You may have a small canopy (3x6’) that covers your table, or outdoor umbrella, but it must not extend into the walking space.

Weather: In the event of rain we will leave it up to the artist to set up and continue. It is up to the artist to determine the dangers of having their art out during inclement weather.

Content

The mission of our Fourth Friday Art Walk is to support local artists and makers. Our intention is to give people a space to sell their handmade works of art. This event does support local businesses in the way of bringing an audience to Beech Grove to see what we have to offer, however we would like to steer clear of having businesses set up promotional booths that do not align with our mission for artwork to be sold. This includes religious and political promotions. We do not allow vendors selling commercially made products, school fundraisers, cosmetics and beauty packages, etc.

We do not allow businesses to set up booths simply to advertise their services. You must be selling handmade creations of some kind. Please do not use this event to resell thrifted items and antiques. Certainly these items may be used as part of your artwork or craft, but we want to keep Fourth Friday art-focused.
